Sometimes we need inspiration. Before Charles M. Eugster left us in 2017, three months before his 98th birthday, he shared a personal message that inspires me, and may inspire you as well. You can watch his presentation ” Why Bodybuilding at Age 93 is a Great Idea” on U-Tube. His bio says he started a fitness program at age 85 and he talks about the therapeutic value of work, diet, and exercise. He states that inactivity is a major cause of death and that disease is not a natural  consequence of aging. He speaks to the value of continuous education and competition in (relatively) strenuous sports. I was inspired by his message.
